What is Tixel®?

TIXEL® is a world first in the anti-ageing sector, which works with natural heat and gently, quickly and painlessly improves the skin structure and rejuvenates the appearance of the skin on the face, neck, décolleté and hands. Tixel® skin rejuvenation is a new, thermal, fractional skin rejuvenation system that covers the treatment spectrum of ablative CO₂ and non-ablative lasers. Compared to other methods, Tixel® is gentle, fast, painless, improves your skin structure and rejuvenates the skin’s appearance.

How does Tixel® work?

A plate with tiny pyramids of gold and titanium is heated to a temperature of around 400°C. The pyramids penetrate the skin easily and open tiny channels to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Various active ingredients and vitamins such as hyaluronic acid are then introduced into the skin to reduce wrinkles and pigmentation spots. Based on thermo-mechanical ablation (TMA) technology, Tixel® acts on the tissue to be treated in an almost identical way to a laser, but more safely and with almost no pain.

Depending on the indication, the treatment can be non-ablative (more tissue-sparing) or ablative (more intensive), even down to the deeper layers of the skin. The non-ablative variant can be carried out all year round and healing takes place quickly, and the time out is short.

When should treatment with Tixel® not be carried out?

Treatment with Tixel® should not be carried out before or after strong sun tanning, herpes simplex, skin cancer, malignant skin areas or skin changes, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as well as an impaired immune system, collagen disorders, previously treated skin areas, coagulation disorders, existing tattoos, skin burns and liver spots.

How many sessions with the Tixel® are recommended?

A course of treatment usually consists of three sessions, each 4 – 8 weeks apart. Depending on the intensity, a repeat treatment is recommended after around 3 – 12 months. Up to 6 treatments are necessary for the treatment of stretch marks and scars.

What needs to be considered before and after treatment with Tixel®?

As a rule, you can return to your normal activities immediately after the treatment. However, we recommend that you do not plan any important appointments for two days after the treatment, as the skin will remain slightly to severely reddened for approximately two to four days.

What are the risks and side effects of Tixel® treatment?

The treatment is very gentle, resulting in less pain and crusting compared to laser treatment. Anesthesia or cooling is not required. After treatment with Tixel®, a sensation similar to sunburn may occur for a few hours (feeling of tension, burning). Downtimes are very short. During the ablative treatment, the skin may be reddened for 2-4 days and flake off easily.

2. Fewer side effects: While laser treatments can often lead to redness, swelling and a longer healing process, TIXEL is less invasive, resulting in a shorter recovery time.
3. No risk of pigmentation disorders: TIXEL is generally safer for all skin types as it offers less risk of pigmentation changes (hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation), unlike some laser treatments which can be problematic for darker skin types.
4. Versatility: TIXEL is suitable for a variety of skin concerns, including fine lines, skin tightening, acne scars, stretch marks and general skin rejuvenation.
5. No downtime: Because TIXEL technology is less aggressive, downtime is generally shorter compared to lasers, and many patients can resume their daily lives immediately after treatment.
6. Natural healing: The treatment encourages the skin to regenerate and repair itself, leading to more natural results without artificial intervention.

We can only achieve the best possible result together with you. As your skin is sensitive after treatment with Tixel, but at the same time very receptive, we need your help to ensure optimal skin care. Please observe the following care instructions:

• Do not cool
• Do not touch
• Apply cream every hour
• Wash your hands beforehand
• Use special serums
• no sun, SPF 30, SPF 50
• NO MAKE UP 24 hours.
• no perfume for 14 days
• No peeling for 14 days
• no sauna, solarium, steam bath for 14 days

For best results, 3-5 treatments at intervals of approx. 4 – 6 weeks are recommended, depending on the indication.

PRICES TIXEL – TREATMENT

1st Ablative (ablative, more intensive) Tixel treatment: the most intensive treatment with results similar to CO2 laser resuscitation, but with much less downtime. For skin tightening and firming (dermis), reduction of lines and lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores pores, stretch marks and acne scars.

2. non-ablative (tissue-sparing) / open channel treatment: the effect is comparable to mesotherapy. Tiny channels are opened in the skin for the introduction of sterile antioxidants, hyaluronic acid and vitamins. No real “downtime” problems. Especially useful for eye area, pigmentation problems and acne-prone skin. For skin regeneration (epidermis), for an even complexion (pigment disorders), a natural glow glow (“glow effect”), against acne.
